Every event on this site carries the official source it was checked against, and the date of that check is printed on its page. When an organiser has not published dates for the next edition, we say so: the record is labelled a tentative date, built from the previous edition or tradition, and it is labelled as a tentative date wherever it appears. We use the same approach on Japan What's On, Thailand What's On, Hong Kong Happenings, Taiwan What's On and Macau What's On.
We check each event against its official source before publishing and re-check it on a rolling basis; the latest check date is printed on the event page.
The organiser has not published dates for the next edition yet. The window is built from the previous edition or from tradition, and it is labelled everywhere it appears. It is a planning guide, not a confirmed date: check the official source before booking travel around it.
We do not sell tickets ourselves. Korean concerts and shows are sold through NOL Ticket (Interpark), Melon Ticket and YES24, whose global storefronts, NOL World and Melon Ticket Global, sell to international buyers in English. Where an event or attraction can be booked through one of our partners, its page carries a button to the seller. Where a booking link earns us commission, the button says so, and the price you pay is set by the seller and is the same whether or not you use our link. That commission is what keeps this site going: it helps cover the work of checking every date and keeping the calendar up to date, at no extra cost to you.
November and December for the concert calendar: the award shows and the year-end arena runs stack into the same weeks as the winter light festivals. April and May bring the mild weather, cherry blossom and the spring festivals, and May 2027 carries the biggest stadium run of the year, at Goyang.
Korean events are announced in short cycles: most organisers publish dates two to four months ahead, and the big summer festivals often announce in spring. We list an event when an official source has published it, or carry it as a tentative date with its basis stated, so the second half of 2027 fills in as the announcements land.
The letter is one email at the start of each month: what is on next month, which expected dates have just been confirmed, and the festivals worth building a trip around while hotels are still bookable.
